I hadn't used VA healthcare for nearly 20 years. I was amazed with the care and service from the lady making my new card - the RN and Dr. new patient interview to the follow-up appointments made so quickly. I just don't understand any negative reviews here. Just great!

\Almost impossible to speak with someone- you first call the main phone number- it may ring for a long time, then you get a lengthy recording about many things, then you transfer to the operator who then will transfer you to whoever you asked for- except many times they transfer to the wrong clinic so then that person attempts to get you to whoever you wanted, oof you are lucky they will eventually answer the phone , however most of the time they will say. \please hold\- then maybe they will eventually come on and attempt to help you(after \holding\ for 15 minutes)

Employees in from desk in dental clinic and discovery clinic work like they don’t give a dime service members in line to check in. Sometimes seniors and people have limitation wait so long standing while front desk had 3 people, who look like to do their jobs . If you don’t like your job or just do it for the money, move on!!!! We don’t need employee with no respect or lack of interest, we need employees with desired to help us, not for us to feel like with begging for a service. Lack of interest in the vets by these people.

Exceptional care and staff. I have had nothing but AMAZING interactions with every facet of the Viera VA facility. For starters, my doctor is OUTSTANDING!! She truly cares about me, and she LISTENS!! The Physical Therapy staff is also outstanding! I have had to use PT four times, for four different reasons, and every time I was treated great. Same goes for the lab and x-ray techs/staff. If I had a complaint, it would be about the difficulty of scheduling timely appointments. But overall, the VA has accommodated me both on-site and off-site. They’re great!!
