The fan on the inside portion of our heat pump was not working - and on a Sunday late afternoon. We called the office phone expecting to leave a message and to have a cold night, and we were delighted to be directed to an \on call\ technician. He was at our house in about half an hour, and luckily had the fan we needed in his van. He made the repairs in about half an hour. Nice, polite young man. We are very, very pleased with the service!

They installed 2 furnaces and 2 heat pumps and the one in the attic wasn't put in correctly thus resulting in a horrific leak that came through the floor and damaged the ceiling. The ceiling actually fell in. They were supposed to pay us for the repair and it's been 3weeks with no check and we have since paid for the repair out of pocket. The unit then quit working two more times and it's been 3 weeks since they ordered the part that was supposed to take one week. Temps are in the high 50's on the bedroom floor so it's been a cold three weeks. They never called to explain the delay or apologize for the inconvience. I fear the unit was damaged during the flood but they won't admit to that. The workmanship was sloppy, the workers tracked installation through the house and on clothes hanging in the attic. I would not recommend this company and I'm considering contacting the Better Business Bureau.

I had a very good experience working with McGrady-Perdue. Our project was quite complicated as it involved installing a new heat pump on a very large very old converted schoolhouse with no existing hvac system. Chris really took the time to come up with a few creative options for the layout and we are super impressed with the final outcome. I felt very comfortable throughout the project and they did an excellent job of keeping the project moving forward. Their installers were hardworking and friendly. All around a great team to work with.

One of my heat pumps quit working and a friend suggested I should call Grady-Perdue Heating and Cooling. They promptly sent a technician, Thane. He was very polite, covered his shoes each time he came in the house to protect my floors, wore a mask, etc. He completed the job in a very professional manner and my heat pump is working fine now. He was able to immediately send an invoice to my email so I could pay him on the spot. Everything was extremely professional from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs an HVAC technician.

They serviced my gas log that I hadn't used in 18 months. The technician was very courteous and professional. He took the time to make sure that I was comfortable using the system and explained the options I had going forward.
