McCabe Property Management is a scam. We tried for two years for them to do any of the responsibilities they contracted for and were overcharged every month, bills were not paid and contracts were defaulted on. Vendors were paid twice. Joseph and Jonathan promised to rectify, reverse charges and follow through. They did not. The final straw was when they illegally had our bank accounts in their names and took money without authorization. The positive reviews: they themselves write!

These guys have managed our HOA in the LA area since Jan 2008. They are the best management company we've ever employed over the years and we are by far pleased. They have been the only management company to collect all dues and bring all homeowners who were regularly in arrears current for some time now. They handle all emergencies promptly, send full financials to the board timely, and have always taken care of our property leaving things better than they found things. The board is pleased with their services and recommends them to anyone looking for a new professional management company.

I worked with Jonathan on a property I was selling for a client. He was quick to respond, well organized and was able to answer all of my questions. I work with a lot of management companies and this was one of the best interactions I have had with a management company. Highly recommend. Also I sold in the same building previously and they were very disorganized and had limited reserves. Within a few short years Jonathan reorganize the complex and increased the reserves. I am very impressed all around!

One of the things that has always impressed me about the business is how much of a personal interest they take in each property. It's not just about buildings and people, it's about homes and residents. Whether there are issues that arise in the off hours or on weekends or during the business day, they are responsive and supportive of the needs of the residents and owners. They deserve an A!
