Marc/Marine Surveyors Intl of Miami is a uniquely, distinctly professional boat surveyor cut from the cloth of \old school smarts.\ Let me explain what I mean. We found ourselves in S. Florida looking for a family fun boat but something bigger than average with some bells and whistles. Our timing was horrible, though. The Pandemic Pop had jacked up prices due to huge demand/lower supply. We knew we had to be careful, because boats that would fail to sell normally were being snapped up. I found Marc through Google and then interviewing a half dozen or so surveyors. Choosing Marc became the obvious choice. He wasn't on the lower end of cost, and frankly closer to the mid-high range. However, we realized we were getting a Ferrari for a Mercedes price. His knowledge of what to inspect, how to inspect it, and what certain inspection outcomes meant about the boat's history was levels above other surveyors. This guy can look at the color of a ballast pump and tell you how it was maintained, if at all. He doesn't pull punches, either. His first text post inspection to me was, \Not good; move on.\ I figure he saved me from 30-50-,000 in future repairs. Do not be penny wise and pound foolish. Pay the tiny premium for Marc as he'll save you 100x that premium in avoiding a bad boat purchase.

Marc was hired by one of my customers and they were very pleased with his services. He provided a very thorough inspection, took the time to answer any questions the customer had along the process and gave a detailed report for them to base their decision on. In my opinion he was very knowledgeable.

Marc Hundley is AMAZING... Can't say enough great things about him! We purchased a boat recently that was being custom built in south Florida. Marc was there every step of the way. He had our back and his professionalism combined with his years of experience were second to none. He has a great eye for detail and went through our contract with a find tooth comb. I would strongly recommend him to anyone purchasing a new or used boat/yacht.
Marc surveyed a used power boat for me in Miami. He did an outstanding job and was very thorough. The broker said he never had anyone look at some of things that he did! I paid for the survey, but didn't buy the boat. It was money well spent, because of his great survey and information; I ended up finding almost the exact same boat but in much better condition.
