I needed to have the caning entirely replaced on 6 antique dining room chairs . Marie's gave me the best price by far and did an incredible job!! The workmanship was beautiful . The caning was dyed and installed perfectly !!! I could not be happier . I would highly recommend them !!

I took a small rocking chair in on 4/25/2020 to have the seat replaced. I was told there was one job ahead of me and my chair would would be done late June or early July. Called in July he says his grandson tore some tags off and could we come and pick our chair. Went and found chair, seat had been removed (back was in tac) new receipt says replace seat. This man cut out the back of the chair canning as well and told me he was to replace both. If i where you and you have a chair at Marie's good luck.

I should have researched this organization more carefully before bringing my 3 chairs for repair. I was promised they would be finished in mid-August, but after weeks and weeks of delays and excuses I went back to rescue my unfinished chairs in early November. Although I was told that 2 chairs were finished, only 1 was \finished\ but even on that chair the quality was mediocre. I would strongly recommend finding an alternative.

We received several pieces of antique furniture from my mother as she works to downsize. Beautiful items that mean a lot to our family and have passed down through at least 3 generations. We received our first chair shortly after we dropped it off. This chair only required pressed caning and was beautifully done. We were happy with the results. Update to the review. The repairs were delayed due to circumstances related to the disassembly, rework, and reassembly of the chairs. Bob kept us informed of the status of repairs ans confirmed our expectations with selection of leather and trim to complete the work. When the humidity supported stain application the effort was completed and Bob assured us of the quality in the workmanship. He was not wrong. The chairs look great and will last for generations to come. Exactly what we were looking for. Will add photos if able.
