Alright, so I had very high expectations towards this restaurant because of the very good reviews, but it let me down. I was expecting real Mexican food, and this is more like Mexican American flavor\u200d️. Coming from a border town, being able to cross to Mexico and having authentic Mexican food and having traveled to different places in Mexico, I got disappointed by the taste. I wanted to love this place, but to us, it was lacking flavor, it needed that kick, more seasoning, something. My fish tacos tasted more like batter tacos than fish, it was too much batter and so little fish. The salsa on top has a good flavor though and the beans tasted very good, the rice, well it was okay. The tortilla soup was not good at all, no words for that one, it was just inedible to us. The only reason I didn’t rate this 2 stars, it’s because their customer service was good, at leas at the entrance. Out server Luis, I believe, he was honest and attentive, sometimes I was not able to understand what he was trying to say in Spanish, but he is great. Restrooms were clean, but the only reason I’m mentioning this is because when I was going to the restroom, there was a lady in a wheelchair that was having a hard time getting into the restrooms, in such a small space, crowded by high chairs, it was almost impossible for her to go, so I had to help her, which I didn’t mind at all, but the owners or management should really do something about that and make it more spacious.

El Burrito Restaurant is the BEST Mexican restaurant I've EVER eaten at. Their fajitas are to die for. Their homemade salsa is the BEST that I have EVER eaten!! The staff has treated my husband and I so graciously in the many -many years we have eaten there. Don't miss your chance to go and enjoy the magic of this fabulous restaurant!!
Everyone is so sweet Xavier is pretty awesome. Food is awesome. This was are first date 27 years ago in the old part of the building. We have went to the Roy and North ogden ones also. Thanks for being an awesome place to eat.
Always wonderful to visit your restaurant. Love the food and the service. Just wonderful. Thank you for being in the neighborhood for this many years. We will continue to patron your establishment and have referred friends and family many times. Can't wait till my next visit.
Amazing food that tastes great and doesn't make you feel sick! Food has never dissatisfied. Flavors pop with every bite! Service could be a little better but other than that great place!
