Mariners Home Makati in Laredo St is a good place to stay with but is overcrowded by alot of sea farers. Everyday you will see alot of different faces because everyday someone is coming and leaving. I stayed here for almost a year and the monthly payment is 3500php for lower deck and 3200php for upper bunk. They have alot of rooms and only two rooms (including the biggest for sea farers) have ACU. The rest are for electric fans only. During summer days, the room is crazy hot and humid. Even with the door open, you can still feel the hot temperature of the season. During rainy days, the room is in its comfiest. They got small gym space with complete sets of gym stuffs, big lobby with 3 big sofas and 1 big tv. Free wifi and alot of comfort rooms. Comfort rooms are dirty maybe because of different people using and different manners of people staying here despite the fact the is being cleaned by the janitor. The gate has a key padlock that is changed with a specific frequency. When raining, you will get really wet before you opened the gate. After you come in, during the night theres alot of mosquitoes outside the door. What I dont like here is that it doesnt have cctv, you really dont know whos renting and whos not. Im afraid of my security here sometimes. Anyone can just enter with you on the gate. But the owner make sure that we are always safe here and they have 2 men guarding the house. Guarding means takig care of the house. not really safeguarding the gates.

Great place. Affordable...and has good amenities for seaman. Has a gym and 50 inch TV!!!
