Great food. Staff and service is awesome. Daily specials are the bomb.

My wife and I ate here for the first time for Sunday Brunch. On a scale of 1-10 I give them an 8. Service was fantastic. A couple of things that would move a good restaurant to the great category .....Cold food (salads) must be on cold plates ...and if your really good ....served with a cold fork. New Orleans style food needs seasoning....SALT! And lastly...in shrimp and grits the tails of shrimp need to be removed. Other than that...good food and service . A little attention to detail and it will get 5 stars from me !

Terrible service. Onion app and oysters we're good, but steak was seriously under cooked. 25 minutes to get our martinis which arrived tepid, I'm guessing because they sat at the bar for 20 minutes. The place was half full. Our waitress was absent most of the evening. Management better get this place under control or it will be out of business soon.

Bacchus is a great seafood place with a casual-fine dining atmosphere. It has upbeat music and the seating is plentiful. Summary of my visit: it was okay. It was nothing special. They were out of lemonade, which was odd, and they were also out of one of my member’s mojitos. When the food arrived, our plates looked very good. It tasted okay. I had the Royal Red Shrimp scampi, but the shrimp was not detailed so I couldn’t eat it with the pasta. The sauce was magnificent. 3.5 stars / 5 Good food with a good atmosphere. An all-rounder.

So it’s not crowded. The manager and waiter for our section walk by us 5 times and no one has even acknowledged us sitting there yet in 15 minutes. We then get waters and order a dozen oysters and salad. Another 30 minutes go by. He brings out 6 oysters and they are the wrong kind. Another 2 families sit next to us and they are also being ignored and ask us what’s going on. I asked if there was a way I could get my salad soon and the waiter said it comes out with our entree. Our pasta comes and the chicken is black and crunchy and no Cajun seasonings on it. Negative experience the first time we went so thought we would try again. Unfortunately, won’t be returning. Really enjoyed the Oxford location.

I ate lunch at Bacchus recently and it was wonderful. Between my work group we order quite a bit of appetizers and entrees and there weren't any complaints on anything. I would highly recommend. Next I would like to try there brunch.

The sever Tiffany did her job she was very friendly on pork chop Monday. I ordered the pork chop med well. The pork chop comes with out not appealing to the eye at all. It was tough and cold, so I sent it back. The second pork chop comes out smaller with no seasoning on it and I was told it was being cooked by the head chef Howie,so that pork chop was sent back. I requested for the pork chop to me cooked raw start to finish with seasoning on it. It took very well over 25 minutes for the pork chop to come out, but it taste a better than the first two pork chops. This restaurant is not consistent on food at all.

Went for Mother's day and had a reservation. We called ahead to see if the full menu would be available in addition to the Mother's day special (I don't eat seafood, but mom does so we wanted to be sure I had some other options to choose from), and we were told yes, both menus would be available. We get there and are only given the mother's day special menu, and were told that these were our only options. The only non-seafood option on the menu was the beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce for 27. I told the waitress I was allergic to mushrooms so could we leave the sauce off , she made a big deal about it and said they were told no changes could be made to the available dishes, but did ultimately leave the sauce off of my dish. When the food comes out I was given 3 tiny beef tenderloin slices (about 3 total ounces of meat, each slice about an ounce) and six asparagus. For 27 this is ridiculous!!! I could have gotten an 8 ounce filet somewhere else for the same price or cheaper. Would not recommend.
