Great place to know more about Maastricht and Belgium as I bought Belgium chocolates there. You can window shopping or get you food there as there are many shops surrounding the main building.

Such a lovely city that has everything you need. Great for shopping and grabbing some good food.
Very pleasant pedestrian zone. Got all the high street brands but also lots of bespoke shops. Only saw one souvenir shop. ( on the market square) Some lovely street food kiosks sprinkled in the different squares. Try raw fresh herring served with diced onion and pickle in a brioche bun. Beautifully presented waffles with an assortment of toppings.
City center good prices very beautiful place
Beautiful City
A lot of beautiful places to visit
Loved the pop up classical music artists that spontaneously pop up around the centre.
This is a lovely little town brought to life by Andre Rieu who has put it on the map. His is a show well worth going to see when you can visit his studio too. As it's all outdoor it's also better if you're as lucky as we were to get beautiful weather. If not you're given a waterproof cape to use and bring home after. We also visited Valkenberg, a pretty little place just a short train ride away that does Xmas markets so hotels there too. Holland such a lovely place, the people couldn't be friendlier willing to speak to you in English if necessary. I'd recommend anyone go for a holiday as it's so relaxing once there.
