What the Hachiko statue is in Shinuba, the Torbogen is in Luzern. It’s THE place to meet up in the city, having short distances to everything in the city (buses, trains and boats), also having quite a bit of history to it (the only remaining part of the Old Bahnhof, which burned down). Nevertheless, in Winter it’s not such a good place given the cold.
