Its jammed up with a bunch of other buildings. Not much to see. I think it's cool but not worth going out of your way.

Original site, however nothing to see here. What’s left is asphalt. Maybe good for those that have writer’s block or need some inspiration.

Disappointing. The volume of the symphony and the singers was not as bold and passionate that I thought it would be . Maybe it just an off night. Having said that the Hall with its history is quite phenomenal

A building intended to simulate a hyperreal Elizabethan London Petty rows between staff about how the place should be run went public

There's an ominous energy about this place, only a hop skip and a jump from the current Globe theatre.

It's beautiful from the outside the only problem is that costs too much

The StreetView photo shows the plaque and information boards describing the location. It was discovered that Anchor Terrace stands on the site of the original Globe Theatre after part of the foundations were found underneath the car park to its rear. However, as Anchor Terrace itself is a grade II listed building, there may never be a full excavation of the site.
