Lovely serene little gem full of wildlife in the heart of East London. Beautiful view of the O2, canary wharf and the dlr. Lots of water birds and there are signs to help you identify them, plus some shelters with viewing cutouts for birdwatching. It's also a quick walk over to bow creek ecological park if you want to see some more nature, and an easy enough walk down the Thames path to go towards the isle of dogs, where if you walk down to Mudchute you can visit the city farm (takes around half an hour to an hour, depending on how fast you walk) - with beautiful views the whole way.
Such a beautiful, open and picturesque place. Lovely for a nice walk.
A hidden gem in east London. Worth exploring while on a short walk.
Very relaxing place, especially early mornings and on weekdays!
