This is my favorite place for swimming. Clean and tidy. Relaxing environment even tho the interior is so massive you could feel lost, yet it’s welcoming for a swim whether you are a pro or just a beginner. There is a diving class there which I always wanted to try, unfortunately I moved out of London.

Great covid19 safe swim & gym. 50m pool, and simple online booking from mobile app or website. Good transport links, 108 bus stop right outside.

Still amazing under used sports centre, great facilities, like the pool and gym. Don't have the b***s to try out the diving boards though. The surrounding park is also pretty nice apart from Saturdays when West Ham plays. Check out the Bird electric scooters when you are there. They are under two pounds to whizz around the park.

Fantastic pool. Very modern and well maintained facilities with the added prestige of being a former Olympic venue. Lots of space and it never feels crowded. COVID response has been fantastic. Everything is clearly laid out and explained in detail. As of July 2020, you must book in advance via the website/app but this is a really simple process. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and fancy a swim!

Nothing wrong with the facility, or staff in the facility. But administering anything to do with your membership is a nightmare, shocking customer service re member admin n you’ll get stuck via deadend telephone lines and I responded app contact requests etc.

I would like to send a special thank you to the staff on duty at the LAC this evening. I lost my mobile phone which also had my debit card in the case. The customer service I received from James (manager), Dave (engineer) and Danielle (receptionist) was second to none. They went above and beyond to assist me in trying to find my phone. In the end it was located in the car park by a member of Newham Swimming Club (Michelle) and returned to me. Thank you all for your calm attitude and assistance it was very much appreciated and stopped me from panicking. Kindest regards Christine Thompson
