Neighbouring property had a skip delivered. Delivery driver trespassing onto next door property in flower beds and on on lawn. Denied by driver, but was a lie as it was recorded on cctv Skip collected and exactly the same happened. Again denied by driver until told of cctv footage proving otherwise. Not professional to be doing this and not even offering to dig over the size 9 imprints in the earth

Zero customer service, seriously nothing at all, if you run into any issues with your service don’t expect a response. Emails will be ignored, telephone complaints met with “we will look into this and someone one will ring you back”, you guessed it nobody does. Also, should you decide to use forge, please check your invoices as mine have been double every time. Perhaps hoping you won’t realise? An archaic accounts system? Either way, having to challenge it every quarter has just become an annoying addition to the book keeping routine. On the plus side, it’s generally rectified eventually, just a messy over charged invoice and credit note system which my accountant loves! It’s probably worth sending an email just to say you have paid - I had my services suspended for a month because “you haven’t paid your bill”. I obviously had, I sent evidence and was reinstated thankfully, no more having to put food waste in my car and having to dispose of it myself. See my above comment regarding their complaints procedure if your wondering how this wasn’t rectified. On a plus side they’ll be super keen to get you to sign up, a bin will arrive promptly afterwards for you to fill and it will be collected sometimes.
Absolutely amazing responsiveness and assistance during the pandemic, really understanding of what small businesses were going through and looked at ways we could work together to get through to the other side. As a small business owner with contacts with lots of utility companies, Forge by far dealt with the situation best with us. Thank you, we really appreciated it.
Not possible to give Zero stars. Shoddiest company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. We thought using a local company and being able to speak to them directly would be a really good option. No direct account manager, zero contact from customer service when things go wrong, frequent missed collections. For a company whose business is collecting waste, they do a poor job of collecting waste. If you are a big corporate, Forge might be fine. If you're a small local business, don't bother, they won't.
I’ve been using forge recycling for skips on and off for the last few years and I can honestly say there customer service from the drivers and call centre staff is 10/10 always helpful and polite and never do they not deliver or collect on time.
