A fellow driver So I've been working with Amber for quite a while now...and I was told at the start from previous colleagues that the operators who send the jobs out will *do you over*. Never knew what they meant by that.....but now unfortunately I do. FAVORITISM. All the operators have favorite drivers , so work is not always fair and equal.....unless that driver is not working you're lucky to receive a decent job...especially in covid 2021 The big jobs......oh wait there are no big jobs because the favorites receive them. I could name a few operators but I'll let the owner read this and have a word with them all. Very disheartening to know this type of behaviour still goes on. Amber management needs to change this or you'll lose trust in driver as you already have. SHAME ON AMBERS OPERATORS

Speed Demon

I've never booked a taxi with them but one of the amber taxi mercanics looks after my car for services and repairs he has never let me down and work is carried out at a high standard I know my car is safe for me and my family to travel in I assume the taxis will be at the same high standard as he is so passionate about his work

The app is good, as you can tell them where you want to go once they arrive , however the air pay is more expensive than adding your card. Only down side to this is that you do not know the estimated price for the journey

Dreadful. Booked in advance as I had an appointment. Driver arrived at a different location, I was asked to walk to meet him as he couldn't access my collection point (which is untrue). Walked to meet the driver and they had left. Wouldn't recommend if you require a reliable service.
