After an HOUR of walking about looking for the driver who was meant to 'meet and greet' me it turns out I was meant to be a mind reader and meet him in departures.. because that's where planes arrive.. Do not use this company. After a long day this was the last thing I needed. If you're looking for reliability and good customer service id look elsewhere.
Taxi had a badly cracked windscreen, and smelt pretty badly. After talking to the driver (who did seem quite nice) we discovered he'd started his shift at 5am, which meant that by the time he'd picked us up after midnight he'd been driving for around 20 hours. He was also speeding for the majority of the drive back, which considering how long he had been awake for was outrageous. During all of this he was also turning off and on various phones and sat navs. I'm not that fussy usually but do NOT use this firm.
I called the company 3 times to confirm that they would collect my brother, his wife and 2 kids from Gatwick airport and bring a baby seat. First the driver did not meet them at the Arrivals. When asked he said that he was driving about to avoid paying the parking charge?! Then he did not call my brother to even tell him this so how on earth was he supposed to pick them up?! Finally he turns up and he says he doesn't have a baby seat so they can't even use the cab!! I call the office and the woman in the office just didn't care at all. She literally said to me \Sorry - these things happen.\ 2 tired kids, 2.5 hour train journey instead and the most rubbish apology. I told them I was going to publish this fair review of them and they said they don't care. To add insult to injury the company says it will take over a week to get a refund as this is company policy. WHAT. A. JOKE. DO NOT HIRE A CAB FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FULL OF UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND LYING PEOPLE.
To be avoided, TERRIBLE SERVICE.This company not even deserves 1 star. My plane was supposed to land to Gatwick Airport at 2.15am and I made my booking for 2.45am. 1. I communicated to the company my flight number, terminal of arrival and departure, time, date and people more than once. 2.they had been calling me 3 times to repeat and confirm the same information. Unfortunately flight was delayed and I rang the taxi to make them aware about it. They told me not to get worried as they had the flight reference number and they could check the status of the flight on line. So when I landed the taxi driver was not there, they cancelled my booking since the status of the delaied flight was not on line (which is not true) and I had even called them before taking off. Such as unprofessional service. To be avoided!!!
