I use their wood to smoke food and cook with in wood fired ovens... excellent quality wood! It is clean and burns quickly. If you need wood to cook or just quality wood for a fire you can’t go wrong with them. I would strongly recommend.
I have been a Lumberjacks customer ever since I converted my fireplace back to wood burning. I pick up every time at the Lake In the Hills location. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the wood never disappoints. My family has had countless memories in front of indoor and outdoor fires with lumberjack’s wood. You will not be disappointed.

I don't understand the good reviews. This place is as slimy as it gets. Called to inquire on price and availability. Eight hours later I arrive to pick up firewood and guess what, the price is not what was quoted over the phone (more money of course), the firewood was out of stock(really?), and they don't take charge cards unless it is prearranged with the office. Funny how none of that was conveyed to me when I inquired on the payment/pick up process beforehand. Thanks for wasting half my day Slumberjacks! I believe that's called a bait and switch and it is an absolutely sleazy way of doing business.
