Couldn't wait to go since they had been closed for several months due to hurricane damage. Steamboat Bill's is back and better than ever! Food was hot, crispy and fresh. They are a Lake Charles legend. Don't walk, run to get there. Weekends will be packed and they are short staffed but you'd never know it. Their staff is loyal and dedicated to taking care of customers. Always a good time

We have been told this a must stop... well we finally stopped and can not believe what we've been missing. Food was excellent. Loved it.
My 1st time visiting and I really enjoyed the food. We couldn't decide on what we (hubby & I) wanted so we got fish & shrimp, a small bowl of etouffee, small bowl of gumbo, and and crawfish with corn sausage and potatoes. We'll definitely return

Apparently this is THE place to get good ol' southern fried foods such as the seafood-crawfish, fried catfish, shrimp etc. Let me tell you....one of the best fried catfish I ever had. Honestly. It came out piping HOT! The breaded part was not very seasoned BUT you need to add the Cajun seasoning on top and even some hot sauce to really complete your meal. And that's how it's done! 10/10 for the catfish! Also tried the shrimp tacos, very good too! This place was pretty crowded when I came here for the first time. Now I can see why. Definitely try this place if you are traveling or passing by Lake Charles, LA! Thank you Steamboat Bill's!

All kinds of good stuff to eat! Crawfish seasoned perfection! Grilled Oysters on the half shell! Red beans and rice. I'm not even talking about the fish and shrimp dinners. I'm getting hungry. While ordering, go ahead and get you a piece of cake. You deserve it.
