Minar-e-Pakistan: It is one of the best landmarks in Lahore city. The details are in images attached for reference. What a beautiful place to visit with family and friends. Alhamdulilah that was a good experience. I would strongly recommend all Pakistanis to visit this place when they come to Lahore city.

Minar-e-Pakistan (مینارِ پاکستان\u200e) is a national monument located in Lahore, Pakistan. The tower was built between 1960 and 1968 on the site where the All-India Muslim League passed the Lahore Resolution on 23 March 1940 - the first official call for a separate and independent homeland for the Muslims of British India, as espoused by the two-nation theory. The resolution eventually helped lead to the emergence of an independent Pakistani state in 1947.

This is considered a very special place as it reflects the memory of the pact passed on 23rd March 1940 for a struggle to take a separate country for Muslims of Sub-continent. It’s know as “Qarardad-e-Pakistan”. Besides, it’s a beautiful garden around the monument. If you get a chance to see it’s aerial view, you may find a crescent and star with the monument.

A very big park right next to Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque. A good place to take the family. But I feel the tree cover is not that good, so early morning and evening would be the time to go in hot weather, as opposed to Jilani Park and Lawrence Gardens where the shade is both abundant and cool.

A spiritual place . It makes me emotionally every time I visit . When my forefathers came here in Lahore and stayed here at this ground. Now it's a outing for new generation. Now a days it's speeding peace and liberty of independence. However I am very proud of this city and county due to this ...
