I needed to get helmets and hockey sticks for my kids, and skates for myself. I went in and received amazing customer service. They listened to me to find out what my needs are, and helped me with every aspect. There was no pressure. I will go back here. They were also so good with my boys. At one point, my son accidentally knocked over some shoes. The owner put my mind at ease and picked it up quickly with a positive attitude. Another time, my other son \hid\ instead of coming over to get his helmet fitting. The owner asked me what his name was and announced over the speakers for him to please come to the fitting area. My son thought that was very cool and came over without issues. About half an hour after leaving his store, my boys and I were out on a pond having a skate.

Sportco relaced the pocket of the ball glove for our Kitchener Panthers player. The service took only a couple days and was far quicker & less costly than buying (and working in!) a new ball glove. This store has everything for every sport and great prices. Don't bother heading to the big box stores with inexperienced employees; Sportco is staffed by experts who custom fit all the gear and service it, as well. A great experience, all around.
As an avid runner I have shopped here for my last 5 pairs of running shoes. Their prices are good and they always seem to have a good selection of sale shoes, the staff has always been friendly and very helpful. Currently in lockdown they are selling using appointments, I felt very comfortable as I was the only customer in the store with one masked staff member. I recommend checking out Sportco next time you need new gear!
This local business is a must go-to for all your sports needs. During covid they have been a life saver as the only thing we can do currently is skateing. They're fast, friendly and efficient.
I was grateful to be able to get skates this year with the pandemic. I called to book an appointment for used skates and was told there were some in my size. I was disappointed when i showed up there werent any used.
