Cocktails were amazingly fresh and plenty of superb quality meal choices at not to steep a price given the location and ambiance. The staff worked tirelessly and gave good service. Speaking of service, an extra 10% is automatically added to your bill! Nevertheless we shall return to sample more of the menu.

Being a tourist from the South I love seeing northern inspired dishes on the menu. Fancy a delicately prepared Bury black pudding sausage roll? All meat is high quality, locally sourced and prepared well (maybe a little on the overly-cooked side for some). The stand out ingredient was the melt in the mouth pork.
We have really nice food there. We order the pie, grill broccoli, fishn Chip & lamp which all the dishes are tasty. Further is the dessert, ice cream with pineapple which the grill pineapple is really with the ice.
Strange place really. It's under a hotel and you really know that it's under a hotel, like they could've totally broken away from that. You have to walk past reception to get to the toilets. You can tell that most people in the restaurant are hotel guests. We ordered some pork scratching type things as nibbles. These came before our drinks. They were 5 and were basically like pork flavoured quavers. Puffs of air. Didn't get many. Starters we shared chicken wings. These were a nice decent portion and crispy, although the sauce was drizzled on top as opposed to them being tossed. Calamari. Chewy. It's very difficult to get calimari right to be honest but if in doubt leave them in the fryer for longer. Black pudding and apple sausage roll. The plate was enormous with two small pieces of sausage roll on. It was just black pudding in pastry with apple sauce. Mains we both had pork belly. I enjoyed this my partner didn't. There wasn't enough sauce. But let's face it, where can you go and get enough sauce!! Will chefs ever learn we like sauce!!! He thought was chewy and there was no crispy top which was true. I'm not so fussy. Dessert was the saving grace. A melt in the middle chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream. I was tempted to order another. Will I be going back? No.
This restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I feel like having a delicious supper, this restaurant comes immediately to my head. best and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.courteous staff members, and nice spirit. Also important, the charge is decent. I sent my friends to this place with great pleasure.
