This place can bring you back to an age forgotten. There is have a 5 century Saint at rest there in the cemetery . I will update this post soon you must visit this place for a spiritual renewal or a fascinating experience of a place very important in new Christian life in Ireland at this period. Lovely place, so picturesque!
A local landmark, Killeavy Old Churches are a great way to spend an afternoon. As a lover of all things old, the architecture of the ancient buildings are great to observe and a walk around the graveyard is fascinating. There are some very old graves and tombstones as well as some which are more modern. This is a very special place, set in the picturesque hills of Co Armagh. The views from the churches are absolutely stunning and a visit here is one the whole family will appreciate.
Ancient and spiritual
Very atmospheric place full of history. Definitely worth a detour. So peaceful, we had the place to ourselves.
