This is a very well set up hostel with many funky and cool characteristics which make it unique (I won't spoil them for you, just explore). The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a few nice common areas which make meeting people easy. The location is a bit far out of town but it was fine for me. I appreciated the mosquito net and attempts to mosquito proof the windows (although not perfect, nothing is).
oooooooops, i am a srilanken living in usa and everytime in my vacation i stay in hostels as it cheap when you travell a lot.I hope you will agree with me. STORY STARTS FROM HEAR ,I CALL THE QWNER AND SAID I AM GOING TO DO A BOOKING JUST NOW AND I AM ON THE WAY TO YOUR HOSTEL. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER IN MY NATIVE LANGUAGE....OOOOOOOPS SHE SAID NOT FOR LOCAL PEOPLE HEAR.GO FIND ANOTHER HOSTEL. I FELT SO BAD BEING A SRILANKEN AND THIS NAVER HAPPEN IN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.......... SHE IS ONLY NICE TO FOREIGN CUSTOMERS NOT FOR HER OWN PEOPLE. SHE SPOKE TO ME VERY BADLY IN SINHALEES.
Clean, close to city centre. Great facilities. You can cook in their lovely kitchen. The Staff was nice. Wi-fi is the expected. There's a pub next door inside a hotel with beer.

Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. Caretaker Anthony is the man. He is very trustworthy and show you the local tricks to enjoy the secrets of Kandy

We stayed here for two days. Good place to stay for backpackers. Staff is friendly and helpful.
