Tagore Public School has started its journey in the field of education in the year 2012. This school is being run and managed by G.R. Education Society, Mahendergarh. Tagore Public School is permanent recognised by Haryana government. This school has been upgraded to Senior Secondary level with all streams in the year 2013. To explore the hidden talents in the child, various co-curricular activities are organized in the school campus. To promote healthy competitions and sportsman spirit among the students, the entire school has been divided into four houses namely Azad (Blue), Bose (Red), Bhagat Singh (Yellow) and Sukhdev (Green). House meeting and inter-house competitions are conducted regularly on Wednesdays and Saturdays respectively. Aim of eco club is to create awareness of importance of trees, renewable sources of energy, species growing in campus, medicinal uses of plants, petroleum conservation, saving electricity, use of LEDs. etc. Street plays, interactive sessions with experts and students, cleanliness drive, tree census, installation of Solar lights were some of the activities organised by the club. The science club tries to develop the students’ potential and interest when it comes to creativity, innovation and scientific skills, with competitive activities like construction of straw bridges and towers. The club aims at developing their interest and helping in conceptual understanding and application through activities like electroplating, making of electro-chemical cells and models of circulatory systems, etc. The students learn to work together in small groups right from planning to execution of projects.
