Good Good! The fried platter was enough food for 5 people, along with an app of fried pickles. Too much fried food though! There are boiled and grilled options as well. The margaritas are good, too! Can’t wait to go back.

Thank you thank you thank you. We use to have to drive to Orleans for decent Cajun. The Catch is definitely superior in every way possible. The smile on my wife's face was worth the price. If you are in the Cypress area this should be in your weekly rotation.

I wish 4.5 was a rating option. This place is yummy. They have a cute little patio when the weather is premitting. The food was fresh and very well seasoned. I ordered the 4 Jumbo shrimp / white fish / 3 chicken tender combo with veggies and hush puppies. My husband ordered the same combo but subbed the jumbo shrimp for popcorn shrimp and cheese grits as his side. Perfect balance of cajun flavor without over salting or under seasoning (which happens a lot with so called cajun establishments). The staff is very friendly & welcoming. The prices vs potion size is well worth it and we also received free soft drinks with our meal. They have a 10 Rita that I'll have to try on my next visit. Big Red Margarita! or Orange Crush Margarita. The only complaint I have was that there were knets flying around the condiments (malt vinegar bottles near the fountain drink machine). Other then that this is a nice place to enjoy a cold rita or beer & bomb seafood. Great addition to the area. Take a break from 290 & 1960 traffic, grab a bite @ The Catch, you will be satisfied!!

Tired of restaurants using bland seasoning to appeal to all. This is the place to come serving food that taste buds love to encounter. I've enjoyed the house favorite of catfish and 4 shrimp smothered with crawfish etouffee sauce also available is shrimp etouffee. My sides were fried okra and red beans and rice. The okra is my all time favorite cooked with corn meal batter seasoned with a special touch that creates a craving for more. Some restaurants you can eat at and say ahhh it's ok and not have a craving for but the catch will catch you wanting to come back. Oh I was so full I had to take the beans and rice home and heat them up for dinner.

Went here after hearing someone rave about it and I was totally disappointed! 1) The patio area was dirty the entire time I was there and after the workers saw it they didn’t bother to clean it 2)I ordered the blackened catfish with shrimp etouffee. The etouffee was good but the catfish wasn’t blackened and lacked flavor. I also got a chance to try the boiled shrimp and unfortunately they had no flavor. Had to use slap yo mama seasoning and they still tasted mediocre. The Hurricane margarita had a weird aftertaste. Oh and for some odd reason the entire floor on the inside was so sticky my shoes kept getting stuck to the floor. I liked the etouffee but I won’t be returning to this location. I’ll try the one on Champions.

Food is great and fresh. Red beans and rice is superb! I had the 2 catfish and popcorn shrimp. It came with 2 sides in which I ordered a side of red beans and rice and mixed veggies. Please note mixed veggies a made with bell peppers (large slices) not typical mixed veggies but it still was delicious. Worker staff was nice as well. Oh, it also came with hush puppies that were cooked especially good. Great place! Will definitely go back when in town. Be prepared to spend if getting the 2 catfish meal! Lunch hour ends at 4pm! Also have option for grilled fish or shrimp as well!

Our first time here, and it did not disappoint! Catfish, okra, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, crab legs.... great seasoning, great batter, just the right kinda spicy! Charlie sets a fun and friendly atmosphere from the time you walk in, and is the right kind of attentive. Come visit this place, and see why they deserve your money!

I will start by saying I've eaten at this restaurant before and the food/ service was good. Our experience tonight was inexcusable. To start Shiner on tap was flat, second beer choice was also flat. Ordered oysters on half shell, boiled shrimp and crab legs. The oysters we're not large enough to serve or charge people for. Crab was very good. Shrimp on the other hand was terribly over cooked. They served us 1/2 pound when we ordered 1 lb and gave us less than half a pound to fulfill the order(are you kidding me, no BS they tried to fix there mistake by ripping us off again) Shell was stuck to shrimp like nothing I've ever seen before. Oh and the floor by drink station was crazy sticky, my kids couldn't keep there flip flops on. Super gross... Worst dining experience I've had in years.
