It was great !!! Definitely will return. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. I recently moved across the street and have been curious. Its hard to beat New Orleans , I'm from Mississippi. Hands down the food was great. The drink (Hurricane) needs a twist, or new look. It wasn't as enticing. You will definitely see more of me.

As my wife and I sit here, enjoying a great meal, we are also enjoying the amazing atmosphere this place has. We both want to mention Sabrina, she is outstanding and could teach a class on great customer service. Whatever they are paying her, she deserves more. She is super attentive and very nice. This is a huge difference from many spots here in town. Highly recommend Hank's! Keep up the great work, Sabrina.
The Lemon Pepper Wings & Calamari/Grilled onions were phenomenal. I was not thrilled we started with one waitress placed order never got it then another nice waitress came over to fulfill our order. Oh let's take about the frozen drink very delicious! The atmosphere is very comfortable.
I guess I can describe it as different. My brother in law, visiting from out of town, wanted crawfish and my other brother in law recommended Hank's. It was a bigger party than expected, so we were required to sit in the patio. That was fine except we waited 1.4 hours for tables to become vacant. Then waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. Me and my husband don't eat crawfish, so we ordered corn, potatoes, sausage and shrimp fried rice. The corn, potatoes and sausage had no flavor whatsoever making it apparent that it wasn't cooked with any seasoning. We had to add butter and seasoning to get any flavor. The fried rice had no color but was very salty. So it was more like boiled or steamed rice with shrimp, veggies and salt added. It was all just so different and no runny noses or burning lips in the end.
We stopped in here mid-April and the crawfish were HUGE! Although huge, they weren't old with the black hard shells and chewy meat, they were nice and \in-season\. The medium seasoning was a little on the spicy side for me, so if you aren't big into super spicy then go for the mild. We also ordered a pound of blue crab, and got 3 decent sized ones. Service was good but there could be some more checking-in, asking how the food is etc. The atmosphere is nice, reminding me of a Louisiana seafood shack. I would recommend Hank's for boiled seafood if you are in the area.
