Fantastic service by Home Aid Services. Had a washing machine delivered today by an online retailer who unfortunately were unable to install it due to an integrated dishwasher. Called up Home Aid and arranged an appointment in two days time but they offered that they might be able to squeeze me in later. A couple of hours later I had two polite and professional gentlemen turn up and they managed the problem with ease as well as noticing and fixing a kinked pipe on the dishwasher too. Very good value, another company in the area quoted me 75 more for the same job. Thoroughly recommend Home Aid. Quick, professional and great value.

Terrible. 2-year old fridge freezer developed a fault 2 months out of warranty but Home Aids would accept no responsibility for a repair, in contravention of the Sale of Goods Act. This item was not fit for purpose. Avoid. Update: It's true it is (just) out of warranty, but that makes no difference to statutory consumer law; you'd expect a fridge/freezer to last more than 2 years (say 5?), and if it does not do that then it's not up to a reasonable standard, and as the vendor that's on you. To charge me to even look at it is therefore not acceptable. I just want to make other people aware of the level of after-sales 'service' they can expect, i.e. nothing.
