Brilliant museum. Brings the past to life...I understand that it the the last remaining of these houses in it's original condition. The staff were incredibly pleasant. Well worth the visit. Note: with the CV-19 restrictions you must book a visit.

This is a small but immensely interesting museum to visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful. There are a many interesting items from the Holst family and from the Victorian era. The piano, which he composed The Planets on is a must see. I found it very enjoyable and informative.
Very Covid secure set-up. Thoughtful, friendly, polite and helpful staff. A good insight into Holst's life and times including a very informative video.
If you love classical music, or are just interested in a composers life this is a wonderful little museum packed with information and displays from an era long gone.
This is a lovely little museum that lets visitors get very close to the artifacts, trusting us to treat them with respect. I like that we can take a close look at virtual copies of his original music manuscripts.
