Only stopped for a quick break on a cycle ride. Unfortunately all closed due to covid restrictions. Would like to visit when reopened for possible day boat hire for birthday celebrations.

The Romance\ - the restaurant barge. A really delightful way to spend a Sunday lunchtime gently drifting along the canal. The barge was very neatly laid out and the tables nicely set..... and the three course meal did not disappoint. With a small but well stocked bar to compliment your luncheon and attentive and pleasant service from two staff on board. Impressive that with 20 something on board and in the confines of a small galley, the meals were prepared by one chef... hats off to him. The three hours return journey was scenic and serene. Thank you to all the staff and crew for such a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Pulled in here for some much needed diesel and water today, and the guys were extremely helpful. We'd been iced in for 13 days and it was snowing again today so we were desperate for water before possibly being iced in again. Thank you and our apologies for bringing you out on such a horrible day.

Just hired the King Louis for a week with 2 children 11&13 and a small dog. Had an absolutely wonderful time. With John & Louis guidance we were provided with the confidence that we could all take part too. The girls have really enjoyed it and we met so many lovely people along the way. Everyone so nice. Boat facilities were great. Would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you all.

Beautiful surroundings, excellent boat nicely decorated and comfortable. Drinks list was extensive and good choices of cocktails etc Staff very pleasant and friendly. Went on an evening Tapas cruise, birthday treat, absolutely loved my evening. Saw some interesting wildlife and flora.
