Lovely cafe with beautiful views of the river and landscape beyond, served by very friendly, attentive ladies. The choice on the menu was excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit!

Lovely food, both for grown ups and kids. Great view of the river with very attentive service - strongly recommend as a place for brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. Things to know - 1. hard to park at the venue (you can drop your kids and partner and then drive the other side of the road to park more easily) 2. There is a great rib boat hire venue there as well, worth booking for after if you can plan ahead and have kids. Will be back!
Absolutely the loveliest staff I’ve ever met! Polite, thoughtful and super helpful! Nothing is too much effort. Took our son boating here and I took some me time to have a coffee before we ate as a family together. They made sure I had everything I needed and even brought me an umbrella for the rain. Food is nice and all your covid concerns are met! I can not recommend this place enough. A real family friendly place to side by the water and eat!!!
Lovely friendly tea rooms. We went for xmas afternoon tea with a visit from Santa. Really lovely. Accommodated all our dietary requirements. Gluten free scone, soya milk.
If it's somewhere quaint & quiet you want to visit for a light meal, then this is ideal. With stunning views of the River Arun & surrounding countryside of the South Downs Way & its myriad of routes, you'd be hard pushed to find a more lovely location. With a great choice of (and great tasting) homemade cake on offer, through to pizzas, fish & chips & more besides, you will not be disappointed.
