Went there yesterday. Very little crowds and I love how they just let you take the books :) The alarms and broken glass was quite annoying, though, and the staff was nowhere to be found.

Good library. Nice architecture with lost of natural light creating a safe and enjoyable environment for kids and families in general. It can get loud sometimes. I recommend to go and visit and show your appreciation and best behavior.
Beautiful state of the art library!! I feel so fortunate to use this library. It’s very organized & lots of copies of books. The after school study program is awesome ....such a blessing
I really really do love going to the Hayward library. One thing I can say is that it’s hours are so inconveniently timed. They close at 5 some days and 8 others, a lot of us work most of those time??? They don’t even open that either. So it makes me not want to go. Yet such a beautiful and comfortable place to go.
