Initially we have had an adverse experience with this agency. In short, being on the buyer’s side, we have had a necessity to move the delivery date on the property at our cost. While it is a normal practice around the world, apparently not in NL. There was a roadblock with the agent Yolande Kok as she explicitly stated the attitude of \it's your own problem\, did not listen, did not communicate with the sellers, even stated that she preferred to communicate with \a Dutch person\. It was to the point that we have had to ask directly the sellers to bypass that lady, and literally 20 min after the direct e mail there was a response “of course, we will move the dates”. While her people and customer management skills were under big question mark, the owner of the agency has explained that they did the ground work and cared to resolve the situation. Likely the agent either misrepresented the facts within her agency or there was a language barrier and she just did not understand the details in English. Overall, this is a professional brokerage but there are apparent loopholes in staff training and the degree of appropriate communication with different cultures. Quite objectively moving to the digital space full speed, the role of the 3rd parties becomes obsolete very quickly, and customer service is the main differentiating factor here that keeps these agencies up.

It was a wonderful journey to work with Mooijekind Vleut Makelaars. I met Claire in a viewing and I was really convinced by her professionalism and goodwill. We decided to work with her. After a first meeting with my partner and her we were already confident that she will make everything to find our home. Her advices during our visits were extremely important and she always answered to every questions asked by us. After a few month of perseverance we found our home and Claire was definitely the person for the situation. She really likes her job, and when you like something you are probably one of the best at it. In addition, all the persons from the agency were nice to us and we felt super well guided through this stressful project. We would definitely give more stars if we could. You get what you pay for, and more.

Me and my partner are a young expat couple that wanted to buy in the Netherlands but had no idea how. We buried ourselves in blog posts, articles and YouTube videos to understand the process. We had two makelaars before finding Mooijekind Vleut and none of them was able to really help us (none of them showed up a the visits and were super unresponsive, for instance). We had bad experiences and felt totally lost. But then we met Claire. As soon as our first meeting ended, we knew she was the one. Not only she is an impressive professional and the absolute best at what she does - she is responsive, kind and had our best interest in mind during the whole process. She was the one finding our dream house and we can't recommend her and her team enough. For all the expats and young people out there, here's our advice: surround yourself with good people. We are happy to pay the price of this agency, the service is 100% worth it and they deserve every cent. Thank you Claire, we couldn't be more grateful!
