I love to take a walk here in Daereungwon, in the morning.(Opens at 9am btw!) It's peaceful, calm and picturesque. You can see the huge royal mausoleums, take a walk surrounded by wonderful pines while listening to the birds singing. It could be a bit too hot in summer, it's better to visit in spring or autumn. entry fee is 3000 won for an adult!

The grounds and park around the tombs were very beautiful and calming, with occasional displays or small museums explaining the burial customs of the ancients. Do NOT try to climb on top the burial mounds, as it will result in 2 years in jail and/or 20,000 fine.
This place is huge and worth staying because of its exotic and traditional view. There was a photo zone that was perfectly insta worthy haha. Beautiful indeed. There also was an exhibition hall inside one grave that displays historical records of silla and it was interesting.
It's spectacularly beautiful, yet you might have to queue with other people to take some Photos.
It's quite surprising when you get to look around and imagine how they built these huge tombs.
It was my first time visiting Korean Tomb Complex. It's different than in my country so it's like an eye open. The Tombs are large. I went here in Spring. The view is fantastic. I also like the tiny bamboo field. There are famous photospots that you can see Korean people posted on their Instagram. it's worth to visit.
The park is picturesque while at the same time historical. It is especially pleasing during the fall season as the trees change color. One of the burial mounds has been excavated and is now a museum where you can see what all the surrounding tombs contain. It is fascinating.
This is really interesting place, that surprised me deeply. It wans not something I expected to see in South Korea. Totally worth to see the Royal Tombs, quite amazing.
