A vet friend went in, (because he could not get them on the phone to make an appointment) and was sent by rescue to the nearest hospital for assistance. He was assessed by the VA Health Center in a timely manner to avoid further crisis.

The Greenville VA Health Center always treats me well. You can notice the level of service as soon as you walk through the door. This center is part of the Durham VA Hospital system. Have been associated with this new facility, covering Eastern Carolina for four plus years. Grateful for the staff and volunteers who make this center an exceptional place to veterans to receive their care.
I had a terrible experience at my previous VA clinic and switched to the Greenville CBOC because I was told it was great. That advice was spot on. I am seen at the Women’s health clinic and my care team is wonderful. They are responsive to secure messages within 24 hours and I have had no problems with referrals to mental health, PT, eye, and other specialists in the VA system and local community. The culture at Greenville is one of respect and customer service. I could not be happier!
