I made a appointment with Grand Rapids pride center today, I called and just explained where I was at in trying to be a better ally to the LGBTQ community and my lack of education about trans rights and safety, Josh immediately met me with warmth and offered to connect me with someone who could best explain and answer. He also met me with a promise that when someone wants to be educated and receptive most questions won’t go unanswered. The boy on the phone also offered to be on the zoom he explained he knew that asking about a community when you don’t know where to start could be confusing and wanted to offer support! It was a overall great first step and cannot wait to become a better Supporter of the community around me

Wonderful place! I was a tad bit nervous to come here at first, especially not being too publicly involved outside of PRIDE, but it felt very welcomed and inviting! Full of useful information for any age in the LGBTQIA Community! The Men's Thursday Night group, helps add a sense of community and is quite useful to me in meeting other people in my community, to talk about important topics as well as making a feel of \togetherness\ in meeting others like myself! Thank You!
