Been to this place very recently on a Friday, we could hardly find one car with 3 members at the end point. This is around 140 km making around 3 hours of travel from hyderabad and the start point of the chincholi wildlife is the karnataka border, where the telangana border ends. The whole place looks like a isolated one where you couldn't atleast see one more person. Coming to the place, you will find an entrance gate with name Chincholi wildlife sanctuary written in English and Kannada. Then the dense forests starts to the whole left and right side of the mud road we travel. After maybe 1-2km, you will find a temple and then going forward there is a end point which has other temple and at the back of the temple you will find a way down to the river and you will have to trek the whole place to go to the down river point which would take you around 30-45 mins one way. The view from the top looked soo beautiful and river flows between the large hills making it look beautiful and the view from the river down also was pleasant and amazing, it looked wonderful with the sunset view point, felt its a worth seeing place. You will not even get a water bottle to buy there, such an isolated place it is. Please carry all your essentials required for you. I could see one family staying there near the temple, maybe they take care of that temple. I would suggest firstly, to take food from any of the dhaba on our way to chincholi and reach by afternoon have some food in the lush forest and have a trek to the river and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Secondly, if you are ready to cook your food there, then plan to go in the morning to there and make your food, eat and have fun in the forest and go to trek for a sunset view. I would definitely recommend this place for a weekend drive and you will have more fun, if you are coming with a gang over here. A lovely weekend destination for nature lovers located around 120 kms from Hyderabad- a small trek from this place gives you an awesome view of the Chandrampalli Dam. One can also find a lot of stone sculptures lying around the jungle.

Gottamgotta a place within 150kms from hyderabad in chincholi district Kalburgi is on the border of telangana and karnataka also known as telangana ooty. You need to travel on national highway 65 that is mumbai highway if you are travelling from Hyderabad. There is a temple called as gangadhar bakka prabhu shiva temple atop a hill. Once you enter the forest you will have to travel for nearly 3kms on sand road. It is a rough and tough way. Thick forest. You can even go trekking down hill and play in river bheema. Carry your own food. Not even tea is available in the forest. If you are lucky you get to see wild animals. Return back before dark as we were told animals wander after sunset. ......Molangiri Rupa
