Apex is a wonderful park fit for any occasion. It has many things to do like a lake to fish in, a children's park to play in, a skate park to skate in, lots of pathways to walk with a dog or just on foot, a frequent food van and ice cream van to get some food and drink, a gym to workout in, a car park so you can spend the day there, a ping pong table, occasional small events, benches all over, a dog park for trained pooches, and even for the young adventurous kids the place is surrounded in bushes and trees that form a sort of hidden path for them to explore. I go here quite a lot with friends and due to its vast size and its multiple entrances we spend a lot of time there. It acts like a hub for us, too, like the centre of our days out. Whether you're elderly folk looking for a place to walk with a lot of benches to take rests, or a small family with pets wanting a fun day out with a picnic, Apex really has it all. I 100% recommend this park to anyone who is interested, it will not let you down.

Apex Park is a lovely place to go. Whether you walk alone for some alone time or read a book, walk your dog, cycle, take your children to the playground or skateboard okay area, or feed the birds, this is a very relaxing place to go. There are plenty of areas to sit if you take a picnic. There is a snack van parked up for hot/cold drinks & food. Toilets & plenty of free parking.

Wonderful amount of birds in a scerene setting with paths leading out onto the river estuary. Visited late afternoon and had the benefit of seeing a winter sunset over the Quantock hills.

Brilliant for kids of all ages! Great play Park, fab skate park and lovely walk around the lake with the option to feed the many birds who come up the ramp to explore and enquire. Highly recommended for the young and the old (benches for those who just wish to take in the view or watch the kids play).

Fantastic place to go for a wander or walk the dog, there's a lovely airstream caravan the sells lovely sausage sandwiches and tea. The lakes are beautiful and soulful. Gets a bit dodge after dark with all the teenagers who habit the area to drink their cider and lark about. Apart from that highly recommended. Just saying...
