Top notch camping experience! I refer to this place as the 3-in-1-- Easily accessible and well kept camp grounds, awesome swimming, and great hikes for exploring or trail running! It's great in all seasons! It can be busy and there are bears so prepare accordingly. Fire tower views are beautiful, especially in the fall!

A great place to spend the day. There's a beach there are walking trails that can accommodate wheelchairs as well as trails that are a bit more challenging. There are picnic areas and bathrooms. You can fish kayak but bring your own stuff because there are no rentals there of any kind. There's a nice camping area too. We paid 8 for a day pass
I am someone who gets lost on trails. All the time. Once a 5 mile hike became an 11 mile hike because our crew kept on missing turns. \u200d️And since I’m hiking solo now (except with a small dog in a backpack) I have to be careful where I get lost. And this is the best place to get lost! Because when I got lost and missed the trail markers I was able to just keep the lake on my left and make my way around. I’m pretty certain I went “backcountry” hiking for some of it, and if ur good with trails this should be easy for ya. And I like flat so this was perfect!
Great camp ground, very clean, most sights flat easy to level campers. Beach and lake are beautiful areas water crystal clear. Bathrooms spotless. Staff friendly, go out of there way to make campers stay a pleasure.
My family and I love camping here. We have been here four years in a row and the girls cal it the OG camping spot so we keep coming back.
