I'm transferring from out of state services. I need medication refilled and medical equipment replaced. They lost my paperwork a month ago. I didn't find out until I called. A month ago they said I'd need to wait until January to even see a doctor. I've been transferred 10 timea spent over 4 hours on the phone to try to get this resolved. I still haven't been able to. I am physically angry and frustrated with the staff just wanting to pass it on to the next person. I attempted to contact Baltimore and they just transfer me back to glen burnie.

5 STARS is not enough. I \did something\ to my back several weeks ago. I went to a chiropractor for 4-5 visits without much if any progress. Went to major local ER and was told pain was was most likley from compressed disc. Given antiinflamatory and Motrin \u003c a week. Got appoinment with ortho doc but not for a month. I got in for an MRI based on ER Ortho consult and managed to get an MRI dpne two days before I am scheduled for a 22 day trip to east coast frm UT. Last 3 nights were all very painful and without drugs. At 0100, 0144, 0226, etc this morning i was trying figure out how to get Rx and thought about the VA. Found nearest clinic to talk to a real person. They answered my questions, got me in to see a Doc, counseled me go to a Med Center next time, I counseled them that I knew that after working for the VA for 28 years, they got me to show up on the national database (again) and got me drugs ((not just 3 days or a week) but to cover till the end of my trip). I am impressed by these people and their high degree of CUSTOMER SERVICE to an old VN Vet. Job well done.
