Chloride is located not far off Hwy.93 and close to Kingman. It became a mining town in 1863 and is the oldest continual working mining town in Ariz. The town itself is small with interesting little tourist shops. The ghost town is actually on a street in back of the main street stores and shops. While visiting, take a drive (dirt road) to view a painted rock panel in a nearby canyon. Their are also petroglyphs.
