They are very rude. The only reason we used them is because they're the only electrician that services Florence. Very sad that they have the Monopoly and they behave the way they do. The lady who answered the phone was nice at least. That's about it. Yes our warranty was up and yes they did it for free, but we were expecting to pay anyway. My main grievance is that no one called before they showed up. My 88 yr old grandmother on oxygen and my retired mother were not able to prepare appropriately. They have dogs so it was chaotic as soon as they doorbell was rang. If someone had called even at the last minute when they were outside parked on the street that would have been beneficial.

I had a great experience with GNE! Service Tech Howard Binford showed up on time, was courteous and very knowledgeable. He solved all of my problems quickly, giving clear explanations of each repair and what I thought was at a reasonable price! I will not hesitate to call on Gerald Nunn Electric in the future.
I have used this company twice in last 3 years. The first time was great. Howard quickly diagnosed the problem and fix the broken outlet. Five stars here. The second time was this year. I wanted to install surge protectors. Howard recommends surge protectors on the house, cable and telephone lines. I said go for it. The first problem began when the estimate arrived with just two categories: labor and general materials which added up to about 640. I had to call several times but eventually Nunn broke it down showings all the parts with their prices. Howard arrived to install all but then decided the telephone didn't need a protector. He didn't install the 80 cover listed either. I expected a refund of 200 but Howard found several false excuses over several calls to not refund me. Finally, got my refund after complaining to the owner Gerald Nunn who quickly fully refund me my 200. This turned into a bad experience with this company. I afraid now that I don't trust them and they probably don't like me either.
