Excellent medical care. They follow the standard of care, are empathetic and available when needed. Communication is excellent as well. Whenever I have a visit, the NP or MD have reviewed my chart, tests and outside reports before seeing me. The care could not be better.

I greatly appreciate this office, especially the early morning walk in clinic. I’m not a patient here, but two of my children are. Underwood is my favorite person to see when we go there but I’ve never had a bad experience no matter who we’ve seen.

Great service from the Nurses Assistants, in the walk in clinic, they seem to know more than the doctors here. The doctors are okay, too, just okay.

Dr. Laws was very arrogant. My husband has Hep C and is currently in tx. Medicaid requires a PCP. So we were able to get an appt with him. It seemed like we were bothering him. He was sarcastic and arrogant with all his responses. We were concerned about blood in his stools and severe heartburn and he seemed offended that he had a GI dr in Roanoke at carilion. \Just get them to check it\ which we will. Had to basically beg him to at least order some prilosec and i saw him rolling his eyes and making faces when he was looking at computer. His whole attitude changed when he found out my husband is a recovering opiate addict and alcoholic. He appeared to treat us differently and not in a good way. He ordered bloodwork but neither him nor his equally rude nurse bothered to tell us. I have to say I have never left an office feeling like i felt today. We are not trash and we werr made to feel like that. We wont be returning.

My mother recently started seeing a doctor there, and I'm not impressed. At Mom's first appointment, we told him we wanted insulin pens instead of syringes. He didn't seem to know what we were talking about. He ordered more syringes. It took a week, and several calls before he finally ordered pens, but didn't order the disposable needles they require. Also, he didn't bother ordering diabetic testing supplies. There's another doctor there that seems to be just as incompetent, but I'm not going to bother with any more details.
