This is THE place to eat and drink in Freudenstadt... it has everything! Great home cooked traditional local food, fantastic home brewed beer, attentive and fun staff, very fair prices. Constructed cleverly to house an enclosed 'outside terrace' full of wooden beams and olde-worlde charm. Make this one of your 1st stops, because you will return night after night!!

Great patio area and wonderful ambience all around. Nice people and good food too! Did I mention the beer? It was nice but appears that only one type was on tap.

Large sprawling brewpub in the centre of the town's huge square. Always popular it seems. Mostly the standard German fayre, but generous and good quality. We opted for the Swabian Platter to share for 2, which consisted of pork, beef, schnitzel, noodles, fried potatoes, sauerkraut, etc - you'll need to be very hungry to get though this lot. Tasty and good value too at 21.50 per person.
