An excellent place to stay. Would highly recommend. The staff, rooms and food are marvellous. Such a pretty spot too and with easy links to the centre of Freiburg. Great cycling country. Fabulous in September when all the wine festivals are on.

Beautiful strategically located hotel on your Europe road trip. Excellent service and amenities. Very friendly owner and staff. Great parking for motorcycle tourers. You can even charge your Tesla here!
Friendly service and nice selection of food
The staff is friendly and helpful to travelers with limited German language ability. The breakfast has good variety and reasonably priced. I ate there one night and had deer and venison ragout. The game was nice and tender, so they have a good kitchen. If you want to eat dinner, reservations are a must as locals eat here, too. The exterior of the building is different from the surrounding ones which makes it easy to spot at night.
We only stayed at Bierhäusle for one night on our way back home from Italy. The hotel and rooms are up to good standards. Spacious and very clean rooms. The hotel and its staff show warm and personal German hospitality all over. Very kind people and a great breakfast in the morning. We unfortunately arrived too late for dinner, but that looked great too. Too bad we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the hospitality and explore the Black Forest further. We will definitely do so next time.

Affordable and comfortable hotel within easy access of Freiburg's network of trams. A short walk and tram ride to the center of town. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
