It was a pleasure dealing with Tom Smith for the sale of my home. As it was my first home sale, Tom took the time to thoroughly explain the sale process. We agreed upon a realistic listing price and Tom had a sign in the ground on the same day. During the sale, there were no unexpected setbacks. Tom was able to have the house under contract at the full list price in just under a month. Listing the house during the peak summer months, as well as listing at the right price, resulted in a prompt and trouble free closing. After closing, Tom reached out to let me know that my mortgage lender had a program to offer cash back at closing. As he was no longer representing me, he was not obligated to do that (my house closed three months ago). That action speaks volumes about his character and commitment to his clients. I would recommend Tom Smith to anyone who appreciates working with a motivated straight shooter.
If you are in search for an agent who will look out for your best interests during the sales process, DO NOT hire Tom Smith. As a seller, I literally thought he was representing the buyer, certainly not us. He was only concerned about \closing the deal\, because he told me this right out of his mouth. He never offered any advice, guidance, help...nothing! Do yourself a favor, hire someone else.
Tom is a great guy who is very dedicated to his clients. Tom has helped me in a couple purchases and sales and he is always reliable and dependable. Best realtor in the area! If you're looking for a realtor in the Fredericksburg area Tom is your guy!
