This place is amazing!! Ordered a pasta with shrimp, scallop, whole baby tomatoes, and garlic. The bread has a heavy crunchy crust with a cloud soft body. The butter is amazing. The beer selection is amazing. The waitress was amazing. The service was amazing. The whole experience. Was. Amazing!! Go here, do not miss it!

Very disappointed! First of all, can’t believe the average rating is above 4. The good: nice outdoor sitting area for a Friday lunch. Easy parking and nice waitress. The bad: I ordered the chicken thighs and all I can say is that I felt the tomato sauce was from a can and had extra ketchup. Chicken flavor was really bad and overall the dish was plain. Tomato sauce with chicken thighs plus 2 or 3 olives. My wife ordered pasta with salmon, which I tried and was even more disappointed. I can’t believe how poor quality the ingredients and the food was. Will never ever go back. Too bad that in Lake Forest such a below average Italian restaurant is still in business. Even the bread looked and tasted like the Jewel french baguette.

I've been to Francesca's Intimo several times over the years and always for the dineLA lunch. It's a wonderfully reliable place to get your pasta fix with fast, friendly service and reasonable prices. My advice is to try to arrive right when they open, since I've seen lines starting around 12 noon. I've tried a lot of different pastas and they've all been good. So hae the sides and the drinks. They do have a nice wine selection as well (not that I would *ever* drink at lunch on a work day. Just FYI.)

First time eating here. Despite the popularity of outside seating my wife and I ate inside. It was quiet and pleasant; really nice atmosphere. We ordered the calamari and it was the best I've had in recent memory, excellent. My dish was also fantastic, I had the spinach ravioli. Wide variety of wine choices as well.
