I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Majority of the staff does not speak English and can not effectively communicate to the patients. The facility is extremely low staff and are so overwhelmed that they can not properly care for the residents. The food is not appetizing and half the time you cant make out what is being served. The physical therapists have no set schedule and lacks efficient type of technique/ equipment to assist you in on rehabilitating. The medical staff run several test on you daily with no real reason for the testing. The administration staff are uneducated on the proper paperwork needed to assist the patient into transiting into next facility. The social worker, Mercedes Ramirez lacks compassion, knowledge or patience to work at a nursing home. The rehab lacked transportation to assist patients to doctor's appointments. My family member waited for more than 5 hours to be transported to the Emergency Room because Floridean lacked the proper equipment to transport him. Only for us to find out that he had an infection, due to the unsanitary behavior practiced in the facility.

Nurses are good.As far as office personnel not very polite. It seems some people don’t want to realize the country they now leave in, laws are followed and respect for family members is a most also. Transportation services are horrible. I do understand it is not their own transportation; but they won’t do anything to accomade you. Very unpolitically driver,!!. Taking back an elderly lady back home . And please don’t respond back saying that your priority is the patients; because is NOT. .

It’s hard not to be there, specially when we live away from our loved ones. I am happy to say that this place was a very pleasant experience. The staff is nice, sharp, took the time to take care of my questions and concerns. Shoutout to both Tanias, Raul and Mercedes, Dr. Molina among everyone else who I had the pleasure to meet and share a little time with. What you guys do is very much appreciated :)

Wonderful place, great staff and very attentive of residents needs. Clean and pristine, feels like home. Staff makes you feel like the resident is their own family member, and are so passionate and resilient. Nurses are kind and efficient. Ongoing activities all throughout the day for everyone, and make residents feel right at home. Would highly recommend to family and friends, one of the oldest nursing homes in Miami, and definitely a gem and central to everything. A diamond in the rough, that's for sure!
