Definitely worth all the way up there. When visiting Michaelangelo's Square, take the chance once you're up there and have a look at this beautiful Basilica. The sights are fantastic and the architecture/decoration of the building itself is beautiful. Personally, a must see in Florence.

This is a very intimate church that oversees Florence. It is ancient and stunning. The outside as well as the inside are endlessly beautiful. From here the panorama of the city is breathtaking.

This place was one of the highlights of Florence for our family, which was great as we almost didn’t come. Trust me it’s worth the effort to climb the hill to get here. The view from the Abbey grounds are just incredible. The Abbey itself was one of the nicest holy places we visited, unique and authentic with some truly lovely architecture and features. A strong recommend from me!!!
