I appreciated Mr. Klavans sincerity and focus on safety and responsibility while still keeping the class fun and engaging. He did a really good job. This is serious business and it's important to be safe legally and physically. The class really hit that point home for me.

Learned a lot that I didn’t know before but that is the point of the concealed license to carry course. To learn and be educated. Highly recommend this course to anyone who’s interested in learning about firearms.
He takes the edge off. Good course and instructor. Be aware that when you sign up for the course you will get text after text and if you don't reply you will be told that \lack of response\ may lead to course forfeit. I've not seen this practice by anyone else and found it very daring.
My wife and I took Jay's course a few months ago. Jay was very informative about the laws, what to do and what not to do in many scenarios. Although it's a serious class he kept it entertaining and will keep your attention while teaching you. Would and will recommend anyone taking his courses.
From Scott C: Very educational, keeps the class interesting, asks if anyone has any questions.. if so, he takes the time to make sure you understand before he moves on to the next step of the lesson. He makes the class fun with his comical sarcasm.. but becomes very serious when it comes down to the real thing. You can obviously see that he loves what he does and that he is definitely looking out for his students when it comes to our safety in class and of course our safety at home. Jay made it completely clear how to deal with our every day situations if and when we are to experience a bad one. He gave us the pros and cons of multiple scenarios and made sure that we all knew which decisions were the right ones to make in different situations. I am currently certified because of Jay’s classes. I have been to a couple of them so far and looking forward to attending more!
