Very nice and attractive mosque..very good for warship.. Huge in all meaning..in volume, it's Architecture style and the holiness of the place.. I like it very much.. you can't visit Istanbul without visiting this mosque.. It has a huge outdoor yard with many facilities and a private Cemetery..

Turkey if of course famous for beautiful mosques. Fatih mosque is one of those. Blue mosque, Sulemaniya Mosque and Hagia Sofia Mosque has its own charm, but I found it more huge, beautiful and stunning than those I mentioned. A must must watch while visiting turkey. I am sure you won’t regret visiting it.

I went for the Friday prayer and it was such an amazing experience. Socially distanced prayer. Recitation of Quran by people was enriching! May Allah bless you all

Nice to visit if you are in the area as is less touristy. It was commissioned by Mehmet II the Conqueror (Fatih means “the conqueror”) so the mosque and the area is named after him. However little survives from the initial original mosque as it was destroy years later by an earthquake and rebuilt with a different style. There is a mausoleum for the king in the same complex.

Amazing place! Loved it so much. If you went there, spend some time in the surrounding area. Nice atmosphere and authentic experience with all the local shops in the streets leading to the mosque
